My little Lilo ♥

This was definitely one of my favorite pieces. I'm totally in love with Lilo and Stitch; that's why I chose to do Lilo. Some people say I'm obsessed, but I think they're exaggerating just a bit. I think when people watch the movie, they don't understand that Lilo is a six year old girl who's mom and dad died and an agency wants to take Lilo away from Nani, her older sister. I liked it because I felt like I could express the "inner Lilo."

I feel like this is the best thing I've ever drawn! I think the eyes are, like, really messed up in the one that's not a skeleton. I really think the hair and the grassy stuff on top of her head. It was really hard but i loved doing it and it was super fun!

What really worked about this project was the hands. I really struggled with that at first but once Mr. Puffpaff 'opened up the door',so to speak, it was a breeze! What didn't really work, like I said, was probz the eyes; yikes!

If i did this project over again, I wouldn't have shaded in the eyes and nose and mouth on the skeleton. I also wouldn't have drawn the ear on the skeleton because after I drew it, Rock and Evelyn informed me that ears are just cartilage, not bones, sooooo, yea..

The most difficult part, again, was the eyes. It was really hard to draw them exactly as the are and still make it look like Lilo.

From this project, I learned that there is always something on the inside of everything and everyone. Lilo's inside happened to be a cute little skeleton that looks a little demented. But it's okay because i did my best!
